Yolla Keyrouz
Yolla Keyrouz, is a Lebanese attorney at law and human rights specialist, born in Becharre, Lebanon, on 29 March 1985. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Holy Spirit University (USEK), and a European master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from the Global Campus of Human Rights, in Venice, and the University of Padova, Italy.
Holder of several specialist certifications, such as Canonical Law, International Criminal Procedures, Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence and Torture, Role of Defense Attorneys during Pre-trial Detention, Gender-based and Family Violence, and Judicial Procedures for Children in Conflict with Law. Lectured at several universities, published many articles in Lebanese newspapers such as Annahar, and broadcasted a legal program on the radio.
Married to Architect Mark Tufenkji, and mother of three children, Naia, Ciela, and James. Proficient in 4 languages: Arabic, French, English, and Italian.
